Dubai Internet City Offers Platform for Showcasing Six Innovative Business Concepts at DemoCamp Dubai

Dubai-UAE: 7 December, 2010 – Dubai Internet City, one of the largest ICT

clusters in the region and a member of Tecom Investments, announced the third

edition of DemoCamp Dubai showcased six innovative business concepts on various

technologies and platforms, selected out of 34 submissions from across the region.

Organised by Dubai Internet City at Dubai Knowledge Village auditorium on 24

November, DemoCamp Dubai is a quarterly conference that opens up creative

communities for tech entrepreneurs, start-ups, venture capitalists, as well as

professionals and engineers.

UAE-based entrepreneur Infinitec presented the world’s first USB flash drive with

infinite capacity, while Carousel Solutions demonstrated a key chain desktop that

carries a complete mobile desktop working environment on a USB device, allowing

users to travel without a laptop. Window apps, VPN and data can also be saved in

Droid Shield demonstrated cloud computing and Android-enabled devices such

as phones, tablets, smart-books and netbooks that allow cloud-based remote

management and control solutions suitable for small and medium businesses as

well as the consumer market.

Entrusted Token Technology, which uses embedded smart chips for high value

documents, as well as online brokerage company Zag Trader, and online talent

marketplace Arablance were the other three companies that showcased their

offerings at the third edition of DemoCamp Dubai.
