Montblanc will donate $4,356,050 USD to UNICEF as a result of its record-breaking fundraising efforts from
the Montblanc “Signature for Good” initiative to benefit UNICEF. The check was presented recently during
The Art Basel Miami Beach and was accepted by Caryl M. Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for
UNICEF at the children’s beach brunch event in South Beach, Miami.
When Montblanc launched its “Signature for Good” initiative in early 2009 to benefit UNICEF’s education and
literacy programs for children around the world, Montblanc had pledged to raise $1.5 million by May 2010.

socialite Barbara Becker and TV personality Louis Aguirre, will emphasize the importance of quality basic
education for all children. Montblanc will invite a local elementary school to join in the daytime festivities
with children from the Miami area enjoying a Montblanc arts & culture program together with the fun of sand
castles, balloons and ice cream.
Montblanc’s ongoing commitment to arts & culture, and its support of numerous cultural programs
internationally, make Art Basel Miami Beach the perfect backdrop for this presentation. For its
global “Signature for Good” initiative, Montblanc developed a unique collection of writing instruments,
jewellery and accessories to help raise funds to support UNICEF in their work to provide a quality education
to all children. $4,356,050 USD total is the final result of Montblanc’s global initiative to benefit UNICEF, which
was raised between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010 when the initiative ended.
