Marmum Dairy Accorded Superbrand Status

Dubai - UAE: 12 July, 2011 – Marmum Dairy, one of the leading dairy brands in the UAE and a
subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC, today announced that it has been named as one of the
UAE’s Superbrands in 2011. The award ceremony was held on 11th July at the InterContinental,
Dubai Festival City. Marmum Dairy was presented the UAE Superbbrand award by the Superbrands
Council, the world’s largest independent brand arbiter.

The Superbrand status is accorded to a company or a brand based on its market dominance, quality,
trust, longevity, accounting practices, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance.

The Superbrand citation acknowledges Marmum Dairy as a noteworthy dairy producer in the UAE for
its ability to demonstrate high brand awareness, a credible reputation, corporate social responsibility
programmes and strong product offerings.

Speaking on the sidelines of the award ceremony, S.R.K. Raju, General Manager of Marmum Dairy in
Dubai, said: “At Marmum Dairy, we have a singular focus on maintaining the highest quality of dairy

The Superbrands organisation, which began in 1994 and analyses the history and strength of
different brands in over 40 countries, is universally commended for being an arbiter of branding
excellence.

more than 2,500 outlets across the UAE.
