Structural Works for Brighton College Abu Dhabi Completed


Admissions Open for 2011-2012 Academic Year

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 28 February, 2011 – Bloom Properties, the real estate arm of National Holding, today announced the completion of structural works for Brighton College Abu Dhabi.
To date, 15,000 cubic metres of concrete have been poured into the school structure and over 2,500 tonnes of steel reinforcements utilised for the 34,000 square metre project. A total of 1,000 labourers worked around the clock to complete the structural work in record time.
Hani Raydan, General Manager of Bloom Education, said: “Bloom Properties is committed to delivering on its promise of completing the project on schedule. Our joint efforts with the contractors, mandated to comply with our stringent quality standards, are beginning to bear fruit.  The dedication of all involved in the project is truly commendable and has resulted in the completion of structural works earlier than forecast.”
Admissions for the 2011-2012 academic year have already commenced at Brighton College Abu Dhabi. The Admissions Office is receiving parents wishing to enrol children for classes from Pre-Reception (age 3) to Grade 9 (age 13).
Raydan added: “Brighton College is a fully integrated project that offers academic excellence. We are looking forward to receiving students for the next school year. We are also confident that our institution will set new benchmarks for quality education.”
The Brighton College campus at Bloom Gardens will offer world-class education in the British curriculum. Its differentiating factor will include a creative blend of Arabic and Islamic Studies in compliance with Abu Dhabi Education Council. The campus is also designed to provide dedicated centres of excellence in academic, visual and performing arts, and sporting activities.  The three areas will be linked by spaces for outdoor learning and social interaction.
