Large groups key focus for Abu Dhabi’s biggest hotel

UAE, February 2011 - The newly opened Grand Millennium Al Wahda is redoubling its efforts to

secure large groups it says. And, following the injection of twelve new meeting rooms as well as a

banquet hall, the hotel is are also set to strengthen its MICE offering.

“In addition to the fact that the Grand Millennium Al Wahda is the largest hotel in Abu Dhabi it is

also the only hotel in the city capable of accommodating large groups under one roof i.e. those

The hotel recently unveiled their new meeting and banqueting facilities. Spread between the hotel

and the adjoining office tower with a connecting bridge the twelve meeting rooms can cater to more

than 240 delegates between them.

Within the hotel are four meeting rooms that can be configured in a variety of ways for small board

meetings or for larger corporate gatherings of up to 50. All rooms are Wi-Fi enabled and have access

to a business centre for photocopying and general office requirements.

There are a number of business centres within the hotel, including one fully equipped business

centre located within the health and fitness centre – a unique location for business travellers to keep

up to date with their communications.

The eight meeting rooms located in the office tower also offer flexible options for meeting planners

and come with the added bonus of data screens. In addition the banquet hall located on the ground

floor can accommodate up to 300 for a theatre style gathering or 150 for a gala dinner.
