DM amends administrative decision on occupational health cards



Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality issued an administrative decision to amend the administrative decision No. 30 of 2007 by issuing the executive regulations for Local Order No. 11 of 2003 concerning public health and safety of the community in the Emirate of Dubai.

The new decision replaces the text of Article 48 of the original administrative decision by changing the text to the following: "The competent authority shall issue occupational health cards for workers in establishments related to public health in accordance with approved procedures in this regard. The establishment shall make a request to obtain the card within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of joining of the employee in a job that requires obtaining the card. The establishment should complete the procedures for getting the card issued within five days from the date of approval of the request for test by the competent department. The card will be valid for one year from the date of issue and shall be renewed within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of expiry of its validity."

The new decision repealed the administrative decision No. 69 of 2010 amending the administrative decision No. 30 of 2001 issuing the Regulations of the Local Order No. 11 of 2003 on public health and safety of the community in the Emirate of Dubai.
