Strong Corporate Demand Has Increased Occupancy to over 70% at Dubai Property Group’s Nuzul Development

New Recreation Area Provides Healthy Living and Leisure Environment for Skilled Labour

Dubai-UAE: 19 March, 2011 – Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, today announced that occupancy at Nuzul, a new generation of skilled labour accommodations in Jebel Ali, has exceeded 70 per cent.  In the past few months, occupancy has risen sharply as businesses place a greater focus on quality standards for regional workers.
Extensive new landscaping and a recently launch recreation area, including a football/cricket field, rounds off the holistic amenities at this innovative development. The community was meticulously planned to provide an enhanced quality of life for the region’s skilled labourers and promotes increased productivity among its inhabitants. 
In addition, Regency Properties has leased 8,700-sq ft. of commercial space and begun fit-out of the retail facilities that will include a supermarket and food court.
The strong interest in Nuzul reflects the new market demand for alternative labour accommodations in the region. 1,556 units at the development are now occupied by companies including MASAR, Cleanco, Dubai Asset Management, FTV Proclad, Gulf Landscape and Irrigation System, Milestone Exhibition, Dubai Security Group, Modern Building Maintenance, Emirates Pallet Factory, Magnum Security Services, Jebel Ali Construction, TTS International and ACICO.

Designed to be an environmentally friendly community, Nuzul has a Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) Sewage Treatment Plant with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters. The treated water is pumped for re-use in landscaping.
