Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan inaugurates Al Barsha Park 1

Celebrating the 31st week of plantation, Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan inaugurated yesterday the activities of second day in Al Barsha Park 1 sponsored by the Minister of Environment and Water Dr. Rashid Bin Fahad and in the presence of Eng. Hussein Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, and other senior officials of the Municipality. 
The total area of Al Barsha Park 1 is 16600 m2 (1.7 hector) that includes most advanced facilities like rest areas, play courts for kids, shaded and opened areas with required safety measurements. The park is also facilitated with 3692 m2 of sports activity area for football, volleyball,  basket ball, beach volleyball and ground tennis in addition to fitness equipments, canteen and synthetic track. The people with special needs are also well considered. Different types of trees, plants, grass and bushes are planted throughout the park giving a very natural experience for the visitors.
