Accorhotels.com steps up expansion on the Web mobile channel with two new smartphone applications

Accor, already European’s leading Hotel Company in room booking using mobile, introduces
Accorhotels.com applications for two smartphones: BlackBerry and Samsung (equipped with the
new Bada operating system). They join the existing services dedicated to the mobile and especially
the iPhone application launched more than a year ago.

Users of Blackberry and Samsung Bada smartphones will have a dedicated application, providing
access to more than 3,000 hotels around the world that operate under the Pullman, MGallery, Novotel,
SuiteNovotel, Mercure, Adagio, ibis, all seasons, Etap Hotel, Formule 1 et hotelF1 brands. Intuitive
and accurate, these Accorhotels.com applications will include functions that enable users to conduct
searches according to predefined criteria like, geolocalization and current date and also refine their search
depending, for example, on preferred brands or number of children and further functionalities. A function
that memorizes search preferences also helps save precious time when booking while moving around.
Member of Accor’s A|Club loyalty program could also enter their card number and earn points each time
they book from their smartphone.

Business travelers will now be able to find negotiated rates on BlackBerry and iPhone Accorhotels.com
applications thanks to an update in the coming weeks.

In addition to providing a showcase, smartphones also create added value for the Accorhotels.com portal,
which has been adapted to meet new customer needs with an ambitious target of 260 000 bed-nights has
been set for 2011.
