FORD RETURNS TO GITEX WITH CAR-LOAD OF DRIVER-FOCUSED INNOVATIONS

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 18 October 2009 – Ford today unveiled its latest driver-focused innovations and technologies to arrive in the Middle East with the regional debut of the all-new 2010 Ford Taurus, the Official GITEX Technology Week Car. Ford’s participation marks its second consecutive year as the automotive partner for the region's largest information and communication technologies platform.

The new Taurus underscores the Ford brand promise to bring technology to market at an affordable price. The customer-focused innovations available on the 2010 Taurus, which are normally found on more expensive vehicles, will also be available in most of the new 2010 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models.

Visitors to GITEX Technology Week (18-22 October) at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre can see the all-new Taurus at the Ford stand inside the Consumer Electronics section in Sheikh Saeed Hall. Show visitors also can win a brand new 2010 Ford Taurus Limited model when taking part in the show's Passport Trail raffle.
