DM Umm Suqeim Centre offers treasury payment service


The Umm Suqeim Centre of Dubai Municipality has started offering treasury payment service with the cooperation of the Financial Department in the Municipality. The centre will provide services for all payment transactions of the municipality, including the payment of fines, insurance, sale of books, fees for sewage water, fines for municipality property damage, hotels fees and construction signs and others.
Amina Al Arif, Head of Umm Suqeim Centre said that the payment service has been attracting customers.
"The service is introduced in pursuance of the principle of decentralization of the work and to achieve the strategic objective of Dubai Municipality. It is also aimed at increasing the number of customers at municipality centers by 20% by 2011 and the constant endeavour to accomplish all municipal transactions of the customers within the shortest possible time under one roof," she said.
Al Arif added that the Centre offers a range of services such as receiving and registration of employment applications, receiving payment of drainage fees, application for receiving containers, the issuance of a discharge letter from the traffic police, the receiving complaints and observations of customers, issuing the accounts e-services customers of the Municipality and the trade license reports.
She stated that the Municipality Centre in Umm Suqeim is not limited to the provision of municipal services, but provides other services to strategic partners, including the service of the Economic Development Department and Naturalization and Residency Department services.
