DM sets up parking lots for sewage water tankers at Warsan Sewage Treatment Plant at a project cost of DHs.12.7 million

The General Maintenance Department of Dubai Municipality recently completed the work of a project to set up parking lots for sewage water tankers that come to the Sewage Treatment Plant in Al Warsan at a total cost of Dhs12.7 million with the aim of assembling and organizing the entry and exit of these tankers to and from the plant.
This was stated by Juma Khalifa Al Fuqae, Director of General Maintenance Department, who added that this project will be one of the important and major steps to solve the problem of assembling waste water tankers on the roads around the Sewage Treatment Plant in Al Aweer area.
He pointed out that the project included an area, which was arranged and planned in a way that ensures the safe and orderly entry of the tankers that come to the treatment plant and a smooth exit without affecting the traffic around the main streets.
Al Fuqae added that the project was designed taking into account the provision of basic services for the drivers of the tankers such as prayer area, cafeteria, toilets, and other things.
He pointed out that the project was designed and overseen by the technical personnel in the General Maintenance Department.
Al Fuqae explained that the General Maintenance Department, as per the descriptions of its functions, implements several vital and urgent projects with high standards in order to provide services to various segments of the public.
