Early Indicators positive for DOMOTEX Middle East 2011

Dubai, 22^nd March 2011. Momentum gathers in the run up to the 6^th edition of the region’s annual showpiece event, dedicated to the floor covering industry DOMOTEX Middle East, to be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12^th to 14^th September 2011.

DOMOTEX Middle East will yet again unveil the world’s best in flooring products and applications where exhibitors from across the globe will for three days showcase and launch their latest designs and innovations from a broad spectrum of carpets and flooring products, encompassing this entire product category. The show - as usual - will attract a wide cross section of industry professionals from the entire region and beyond, and will provide exhibitors an ideal platform to further strengthen their footprint and network not only within the Middle East region but also Africa, CIS, Central Asia and beyond.

With six months to go before we open the doors of DOMOTEX Middle East 2011, stand bookings have been encouraging, says Ms. Angela Schaschen, Managing Director of Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch, organizers of the only show of its kind in the region.

One of the region’s largest manufacturers of carpets and allied floor covering products - Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co, Riyadh, KSA - are this year’s Platinum Sponsors of the show. They will lead the exhibitor line up amongst other prominent names from the industry such as Abu Dhabi National Carpet Factory, Balta, Roya, Estillon, and many others. Creative Flooring has gained success and popularity since its inception at DOMOTEX Middle East. Flooring professionals can avail themselves of the opportunity to learn about new techniques on installing mixed material combinations on a variety of surfaces, including wall-to-wall carpet, wood flooring, carpet tiles and laminate flooring. The demonstrations will be led by professionals from the Academy of Flooring Skills (TAOFS) from the UK.

In a separate designated area, a Designers’ Corner will be a meeting-place for architects and interior designers from across the region, where speakers will provide attendees with a great opportunity and an impactful impression by displaying the hottest projects in the GCC through presentations, seminars and displays of design flooring. This special segment of the show will offer all exhibitors excellent business prospects in the contract market.
