Emirates Aviation College Educates for Careers on the Ground and in the Skies
New programmes offered in Aviation Safety & Security, Engineering Management, Transport Management & Logistics and in commercial pilot license certification
DUBAI, UAE – 19 April 2012  Emirates Aviation College, the institution of choice for higher education in Aviation Studies in the MENA region, introduces four new education programmes; fulfilling aviation related career goals both in the air and on the ground through quality, industry recognised education and training programmes. The four new programmes support the critical functions of Safety & Security through an MSc in Aviation Safety/Security, Management by offering a MSc in Engineering Management and Higher National Diploma in Transport Management & Logistics, as well as  addressing  the  need for commercial pilots through the, EASA Licensed Pilot Training ATPL programme.

Emirates Aviation College is committed to constantly offering new and industry-relevant programmes. The new programmes come at a time when the demand for qualified safety and operations staff is expanding globally. Presented in collaboration with Jeppesen, the EASA Licensed Pilot Training programme was created to specifically address the need for commercial airline pilots in the coming decade. Industry studies show that an average of 23,000 additional pilots are needed per year over the next 20 years to fulfil the demands of air travellers and the growth of airlines worldwide. 

These programmes add to the already expanded course degree / certificate offerings which include: MBA in Aviation Management; Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Technology, Avionics Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management and Applied Business; Diplomas and Higher Diplomas in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Computing Software Development, Business Management and Tourism Management.

The Emirates Aviation College provides candidates interested in aviation studies two opportunities to explore educational careers with the College. First, the College is present at GETEX (the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition) from 19-21 April, where prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the course offerings and speak directly to the faculty. Additionally, Emirates Aviation College will host an Open Day for the public on Saturday, 28 April, where prospective students and their families may visit the campus and experience first-hand the diversity of the programmes offered.
