(ZFP), one of Saudi Arabia’s most successful consultancy firms specializing in
Architecture, Engineering & Information Systems, is set to deploy Avaya’s Virtual
Service Platform (VSP) 9000 to deliver high-performance and high–availability Ethernet
switching as the company moves toward a next-generation virtualized data center
environment. Aimed at simplifying ZFP’s network infrastructure operations, the Avaya
deployment, which will be managed by platinum-level partner BMC, is anticipated
to deliver significant operational and maintenance savings as well as a measurable
increase in ZFP’s business performance.
Serving 3000 users at five main branches and 20 remote sites, ZFP’s Avaya
infrastructure will enable the company to provide virtual services in a cloud-based
environment and maximize the efficiency of its existing IT resources. The Avaya VSP
9000, a key element of Avaya’s Virtual Enterprise Network Architecture (VENA) data
networking strategy, will support ZFP users that require round-the-clock access to key
