Group’s Retail Concepts Win Region-wide Recognition
Dubai-UAE: 30 April, 2011 – Landmark Group, the region’s leading retail
and hospitality conglomerate, today announced its retail concepts bagged four
distinctions at the prestigious Majid Al Futtaim Awards 2011, which recognise
outstanding achievements in the region’s retail sector.
Centrepoint won the ‘Best Anchor Store’ for Mall of the Emirates and Ajman City
Centre. Home Centre was named ‘Best Retailer of the Year’ and additionally bagged
the ‘Best Home-Wares Retailer of the Year’ award for their outlet at the Mall of the
Emirates.
The winners were selected for outstanding achievement on the basis of various
merit criteria including sales performance, operational commitment and customer
service philosophy.
