Dubai Central Laboratory organizes Customer Meet

Dubai Central Laboratory Department organized a meeting with its customers recently at Le Meridian Hotel, Airport road. The meeting, attended by more than 200 customers, was organized as part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to satisfy the customers and create awareness about the different activities of Dubai Central Laboratory. The meeting helped to have an open and transparent discussion with the customers.

Eng. Salem Bin Mesmar, Assistant Director General of Dubai Municipality for Health, Safety and Environment Monitoring Sector was also present on the occasion.

Eng. Hawa Abdulla Bastaki, Director of Dubai Central Laboratory Department delivered the welcome speech a the gathering, which was followed by a presentation about Dubai Municipality and DCL vision and mission as well as the present activities, new services, future plans, research work, achievements, contributions and credibility of Dubai Central Laboratory. Dubai central Laboratory is actively involved in the Dubai Green Building concept. The testing facility for some green materials including fire testing is available.

During the meeting an open discussion with the customers was conducted by Eng. Ali Ahmed Elian, Head of Engineering Materials Section. Many customers expressed their views and ideas. Some customers made suggestions for improvement and new services which they are looking from the DCL. Bastaki promised that all the valid ideas, views and comments will be considered.

Mr. Mesmar also honoured selected consultants and contractors and distributed certificates to the customers.
