The Qualification & Building Studies Section in the Buildings Department of Dubai Municipality, in cooperation with Emerson Climate Technologies, will organize a seminar on Air Conditioning Energy Standards on Tuesday, June 10, 2009 from 9:30 am to 11:15 am at the Municipality City Hall.
The seminar will focus on the importance of energy standards for Air conditioners in the context of the increased demand of energy and the focus of the regulatory bodies across the globe on energy conservation. Considering the Middle East climate, Air conditioning applications in the region takes 65-70% of the electricity consumption in residential & commercial sectors. Considering the global energy standards for Air conditioning industry, the seminar aims to make a proposal of energy standards for Dubai.
Principal speakers in the seminar will be Mr. Pratap Chavan, Vice President & Managing Director of Emerson Climate Technologies Middle East & Africa Region, Mr. Roberto Helena, Technical Manager, Middle East & Africa Region and in charge of customer training and Mr. Uday Mahadeokar, Marketing Manager of Emerson Climate Technologies Middle East & Africa Region.

Energy is consumed by all the electrical components that we use and air conditioners itself also consumed a large amount of energy, proper air conditioning maintenance is essential to make them more efficient in terms of energy and work.
