PPerformance PR has been appointed to provide communications support for Abu Dhabi International Motor Show 2010 (www.admotorshow.com). The automotive and sport PR specialist was selected by show organiser, Reed Exhibitions, after a three-way pitch process.
The Abu Dhabi International Motor Show (ADIMS), which takes place from December 7-11 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), will be the largest and most comprehensive motor show to take place in the Middle East in 2010. Launched over 20 years ago, this year will mark the show’s thirteenth edition, and is set to feature a number of major product launches as well as some exciting new developments.
Performance PR has been charged with promoting ADIMS 2010 throughout the UAE and Middle East . The agency will be responsible for all media communications and providing on-site media support. Other major events Performance PR has previously worked on include the Race of Champions in London and Beijing , the MPH Show featuring Top Gear Live and the London Motorcycle Show.
The decision to appoint Performance PR was based on the company’s passion for, and knowledge of, the automotive industry, as well as the quality of its creative input in the automotive field. The partnership between Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading events organiser, and Performance PR will help in establishing the Abu Dhabi International Motor Show 2010 as the region’s leading motor show.
Performance PR was founded in London in 2002. Last year, the agency set up an office in Dubai to capitalise on growing opportunities in the regional automotive and sport markets. Based in Dubai Media City , the company represents a number of blue-chip automotive clients, including McLaren Automotive, Bentley Motors, Williams F1, KTM, Fast Rent A Car and GulfSport Racing. The company’s UK client list includes Alfa Romeo, BMW and Citroën.
“Being chosen to work on such a prestigious international motor show is a tremendous addition to our growing portfolio,” said Noel Ebdon, Performance PR Middle East’s Managing Director. “The Abu Dhabi International Motor Show 2010 is set to raise the standard for such events in the region, featuring many of the world’s leading automotive names and several exciting new activities.”
