ALL-IN-ONE: LG’S N1A1 PERFECTLY COMBINES NETWORK STORAGE AND HARD DRIVE

Dubai, Jul. 18, 2011 - LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in

consumer electronics, unveiled its N1A1 Network Storage, which delivers complete data

security with efficient and stable performance. Meticulously designed to be user-friendly,

the N1A1 is specifically tailored to meet the high standards and expectations of advanced

home users.

The new N1A1 combines the features of an external hard drive and network storage

device, raising the expectations for convenient home data management. It can be switched

among these two modes using external controls. Ethernet and USB interfaces provide even

greater flexibility.

The Reliable Back-up Solution

The new N1A1 automatically runs back-ups from multiple computers, delivering reliable,

distributed data recovery that is tailored to specific needs. Wherever there is an internet

connection, the Real-time Back-up runs in the background.

Full Networking Capabilities

More than just a back-up device, the N1A1 can deliver files flawlessly across a home

network. Its fast read and write times enable extremely stable and rapid downloads of large

files on a network, with read speeds up to 60 MB/second. The large amount of data stored

on the N1A1 can be accessed remotely through LG’s Dynamic Domain Name Server

(DDNS) at no additional cost. They can also create email-friendly links to files on the

N1A1 using the Public Link feature, which can handle files as large as 2GB.

Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certification further enhances the N1A1’s

networking capabilities, allowing supported audio and video devices to directly access

multimedia saved on the network storage device. LG’s living room-friendly N1A1 can

stream multimedia to a DLNA TV or any DLNA supported device on the same network.

Design Excellence

As with all LG products, the N1A1 combines smart technology with stylish design,

ensuring that it blends harmoniously with existing home décor. Complex electronics are

enclosed within the soft, rounded corners of its case, which is available in sleek black or

bright white. The gently curving cradle completes N1A1’s look, letting it proudly stand

next to the latest computer or home entertainment hardware.

The LG N1A1 will be available starting September. More details are available at www.lg/com/ae
